Why did AMT develop the ServoCam® Extended Maintenance Program?
AMT has a reputation in the machining industry for providing high quality, reliable equipment and responsive service for your ServoCam® systems. Should a problem with your system occur, the modular design of our components insures that your machine is returned to operation in minimal time by enabling the replacement of the problem component onsite, generally without the need for a service call. With the powerful Datalog capability built into every ServoCam® system, problems are successfully diagnosed and resolved quickly.
With this in mind,
AMT has been asked by customers to provide a cost effective program to insure that their ServoCam® systems continue to operate at peak efficiency with manageable costs. The ServoCam® Extended Maintenance Program achieves these objectives for our customers.
Why am I now going to be charged for this service?
The powerful Datalog capability built into every ServoCam® system enables problems to be successfully diagnosed and resolved quickly whether they are caused by failed components, machine problems such as electrical or mechanical issues, or configuration/operation errors. In the past, AMT has been able to provide this service to our customers at no additional cost. However, as the number of installed systems has now exceeded 600 and many of systems are out of warranty, we are providing this program to insure that you are guaranteed an alternative to protect you from unexpected costs should a problem with your ServoCam® system ever occur. The Servocam® Extended Maintenance Program allows AMT to continue to provide the level of service and support you have come to expect.
What if I did not purchase my ServoCam® systems from AMT?
The ServoCam® Extended Maintenance program is available for ANY ServoCam® system, no matter how it was acquired. This is an alternative to extended warranty which is only available to the original purchaser of a system. Your system will qualify for coverage under this program by simply calling to register the system's serial number with us and signing up for the program.
What is the difference between "extended maintenance" and "extended warranty"?
The ServoCam® Extended Maintenance Program is a cost effective alternative to extended warranty which is more comprehensive coverage of the system providing service, repairs, and upgrades at a fixed cost for a period time. This program was developed to insure that we are able to continue to provide support to all ServoCam® users at a more manageable cost.
Exactly what is covered under this program?
The ServoCam® Extended Maintenance Program applies to all AMT supplied components on a machine.
What is not covered under this program?
The program does not cover the cost of any of the original parts of the screw machine, or any non-AMT supplied components.
What are the benefits of this program to me?

How long are my systems covered under this program?
The ServoCam® Extended Maintenance Program is an annual program, so systems are covered for 12 months from the date that your systems are registered and the program fees have been paid.
Can I just cover some of my ServoCam® systems with this program and still get the benefits?
No. All ServoCam® systems that are out of warranty at a location must be included in the ServoCam® Extended Maintenance Program in order for coverage to be made available. Out of warranty systems not included in the program will be charged the Standard Service Fees and may result in additional charges for diagnosis and repairs on other systems at a location.
How do I sign up and register my systems?
Contact AMT via phone or email with the serial number(s) of the systems to be included in the program. In order to activate the ServoCam® Extended Maintenance Program, the annual fees must be paid via credit card or purchase order. Coverage will commence immediately and will be in effect for 1 year from the date that the fees are paid.
Is the annual renewal automatic?
The ServoCam® Extended Maintenance Program has an annual term and renewal is automatic on the anniversary date if the program fees were paid via credit card. Users will be contacted approximately 45 days before the end of the coverage period to insure that user or system information is kept current.
